On December 11th, a seminar titled "Real-time Intelligent Robot Functionality and Safety" was successfully held by the Ningbo Robot Training Center and the Robotics Department of Ningbo Engineering College. Zhejiang Eco Automotive Technology Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang Eco"), a leading company in the field of functional safety, was invited to participate. Mr. Li Jin, General Manager of the International Certification Department, delivered a presentation to university students and industry professionals, discussing the path of robot safety development.

He delved into the core framework of internationally recognized standards like ISO 26262, which originate from the automotive industry, highlighting their proven effectiveness and rigor in ensuring system reliability and preventing systemic failures. Furthermore, he explored how these standards can be adapted to the entire lifecycle of robotics development, including design, testing, and maintenance.
